Joss Bartleet

Joss Bartleet, преподаватель BENEDICT SCHOOLMy name is Joss Bartleet.
I am 27 years old and I am currently employed by the Benedict School St Petersburg.
I am born and was raised in the town of Crieff, located in Perthshire, Scotland. I finished a University degree in Wales Aberystwyth studying a BSC in International Politics and Military History. I specialised during this course in the fields of Russian political and military history. It was this interest in Russian history and culture which drew me to the country of Russia. Before this I spent several years living in Australia and travelling in Europe, Thailand and India. I am a keen traveller and greatly enjoy seeing and experiencing other places, peoples and cultures.

My person interests cover a wide variety of different activities. I take a lot of pleasure in physical sports and activities and travel to the country as often as possible to get away from the stress of city life. There are several activities which I participate in which help me achieve this, including fishing, skiing, clay pigeon shooting and archery.

I do however keep up my interest in less physical and more academic interests as well; I read fanatically, fiction as well as non-fiction and my passion for politics and history has not decreased since I finished my degree at university. I am also an enthusiastic chess player, a game I find both relaxing and mentally stimulating. As well as this, and taking advantage of the unique opportunity that working in Russia has given me, I have also begun to learn the Russian language, a skill that will not only be useful but is a fascinating one as well.
